Offering drug education lectures, Narconon has been able to reach many Houston residents, teaching them about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. The crime rate due to drug and alcohol abuse is high and many people who go through the justice system are repeat offenders. Atlanta’s plan to help drug offenders is underway and those who are non-violent offenders can be sentenced to outpatient drug rehab in some cases instead of doing jail time.
